the beginning of bravo squad paintball
Bravo Squad Paintball was started in the Fall of 2009 when cousins Chris Omar and John Read came up with the idea of creating a paintball team wanting to get serious about the sport. We then got more friends to join in. The team truly started to get going in July of 2010 when we purchased our own markers. We would then play in our backyards most of the time, and sometimes local fields like New Breed and ABC. We attended our first scenario, the West Point Combat Classic in October 2010, and this is where we got our first taste of organized paintball. We then wanted to take a shot of competition by playing in our first tournament in the Killhouse at Hornets Nest Paintball, even though we placed last of 12 teams, we held up pretty well against very experienced teams like the 518 Ninja Squad, War Hounds, and 12th best collegiate team in the nation, the West Point Black Knights. In the 2011 season, we are finally getting off the ground, joining forces with the War Hounds, practicing, and having a broad schedule of events ahead. Our main goal is to be a successful and winning team, but we can't be successful without having fun. Everyone on the team is equal on the field, and they all have something they can do that will change the outcome of the game in a positive way. We will all have lasting friendships and bonds for years to come!
War hounds paintball
After our first tournament in the Killhouse at the Hornet's Nest, we met a great group of guys called War Hounds Scenario Paintball. They had 3 squads in the tournament, their "A" squad placed 4th, their "C" squad placed 5th, and "B" squad placed 9th. Throughout the day they were giving tips, teaching us what to do and what not to do. The War Hounds are filled with guys who have been playing since they were our age, and they want to teach us the fundamentals of sportsmanship, teamwork, leadership, and the honor in this great sport.

Goshen Carnage
In December 2010, we started speaking with the teenage speedball team Goshen Carnage because both of our teams had the same mindset of growing and becoming the best we can be in the future. So we decided to join together in an "Affiliation." The team's finally met at the Hornet's Nest Killhouse tournament, where both teams placed 8th and 12th respectively. Pretty much after that we attended every event we could, alongside the War Hounds making a badass trio!
